Con Quest meets Avenue Q

When a Broadway musical makes puppets its stars and wins the Tony Award for the best musical, Corporate Creatures Business News interviewer Con Quest needs to find out more. This week Con interviewed the stars of Avenue Q Australia, Mitchell Butel who plays Rod and Princeton and Luke Joslin who plays Nicky and Trekkie at the Theatre Royal in Sydney to find out the secret behind these magical puppets that are taking the world by storm. And by pure coincidence after more than six years on Broadway, the original Avenue Q production will close on Broadway today, but the Australian production will run for another year. World launch of new puppet infomercial

Launching on the world-wide web tomorrow is a new puppet infomercial 'The Click Daly Show' produced by See3 Communications in Chicago and Corporate Creatures in Sydney for the Case Foundation. The short film discusses the importance of social media in creating world-wide awareness for the NGO and non-profit sector. The Case Foundation invests in individuals, nonprofits, and social enterprises aiming to connect people, increase giving, and catalyze civic action in the United States.

The 'The Click Daly Show' was shot in a green screen studio in Sydney and post-production was completed in Chicago. Enjoy!

Corporate Creatures films from the ABE Expo 2009

After a successful two-days at the Australian Business Events Expo last week and walking away with the 'Best New Product of the Year' Award, CCBN Presenter, Con Quest has put up three new films on his blog site here!

Corporate Creatures wins Australian Award

Today Corporate Creatures was awarded ‘Best New Product of the Year’ at the Australian Business Events Expo 2009 in Sydney. This afternoon team were presented the award by Gwen O'Toole, editor of the Australian Spice Magazine. On accepting the award today, Corporate Creatures CEO, Gary Friedman. was delighted and thanked his dedicated team of puppeteers, creative staff, writers and crew, who finally would see their new product reaching the international target market which they well-deserved. Con Quest to appear at Australian Business Events Expo in Sydney

This week sees the Australian Business Events Expo at Darling Harbour in Sydney on 22 and 23 July. Renowned British presenter of Quest Business News, Con Quest, will be hosting a booth at the Expo as well as covering the event for the web. Many of the characters from Corporate Creatures will also be roving round the expo and causing controversy. So if you are planning to be in Sydney on Wednesday or Thursday, do come down to the Exhibition Centre and check them out! Corporate Creatures will be at stand F13, so come down and visit!

Con Quest our Corporate Creatures™ Business News presenter interviews well-known Australian Neonatal Pediatrician, Dr Howard Chilton. This is a promo of the full interview in which Dr Chilton discusses the similarity in behavior between newborn babies and corporate executives. Con Quest introduces Limmud-Oz Festival

I discovered this short film today in which CCBN presenter, Con Quest, introduces Limmud-Oz 2009 - a festival of Jewish Learning and Culture, taking place at the University of New South Wales in Sydney from 6-8 June 2009. The full seven-minute version of the Corporate Creatures™ Promo has finally been released for all those interested in this exciting new project. It can also be viewed on Vimeo, but because this is a large video file, it might take a while to download, unless you have a fast internet connection. So please be patient! There is also an interesting short film on the making of Corporate Creatures™, 'The Humans behind the Creatures' which can be viewed here and the entire collection of the Creatures short films to date can be viewed here! Corporate Creatures™ launches in Australia

Official spokesperson for Corporate Creatures™ in Sydney, Con Quest yesterday announced the official launch of their new website.

Corporate Creatures™ harnesses the powerful age-old tradition of puppetry with a 21st century makeover to communicate issues within the business environment. While the puppets themselves are larger-than-life, their workplace and the situations they face are relevant to everyone.

By using the puppet, we provide a non-threatening format in which the audience is entertained while the key messages are still being strongly communicated. We can effectively tackle issues that everyone is thinking about, but no one is comfortable discussing - sensitive subjects such as personal concerns, bullying and sexual harassment in the workplace.

Mr Quest has also announced that he will be conducting interviews with prominent business and world leaders weekly and the first such interview can be found on his blog at CCBN here!
