I am proud to announce that our European Tour 2013 is ready to launch. In April and May, I shall be conducting workshops and performances in France, Netherlands, Belgium, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, Hungary and Jakarta, on the way back to Australia. The workshops will be mainly hosted at International Schools, with a few private venues along the way. The work will be geared mainly to students, although we shall be holding professional development workshops for the teachers too.
Our workshops explore critical and creative thinking and stimulate improvisational skills and exploring originality, imagination and resourcefulness. Our performances are all spontaneous, improvised and provide a fresh approach to exploring subject material.
The tour is very exciting, but a little daunting at the same time having to fly to so many cities in such a short period. So we shall open in Paris early next month and I'll keep you posted on the news as it happens...
We are also busy organising an incredible 'Ten Days on the Island' - a ten-day intensive puppetry workshop, presented by Turkish puppeteer Çağlayan Sevinçer from Istanbul and Gary Friedman from Melbourne, from 12 to 21 August 2013 on the island of Gökçeada, off the coast of Turkey.
