The Hag and the festival

An old woman, living in an isolated world, entertains herself by unpacking items from her rather strange sewing box which brings her internal fantasy to life. The 'Hag' as she calls herself,  is quite believable as she discovers and makes 'new friends'. Her facial expressions reflect a relationship she seems to have built up with these rather 'odd' characters over some time. This evening I saw a fascinating short object performance, entitled 'Pinned' by New Zealand artist, Rebecca Wild.

This beautiful mini-production felt like a mystical ballet being performed by the old hag and her mysterious friends. If you get a chance to catch this at odd times during the Suspense Festival, then don't miss it!
