A Puppet Slam in Melbourne?

Welcome to Australia's first official Puppet Slam event! Talented puppet artists present new short works for each slam. The first slam event will be hosted at St Ali Cafe, 12-18 Yarra Place, South Melbourne on Saturday 12th November. The event will use no lighting... or rather, the audience shall be responsible for supplying the lighting. What does that mean? It means that you should bring along a torch and a couple of spare batteries, so that everyone can see what is going on. It's an exciting way to see theatre!
